Hello
I was hoping to get some advice. I ran the Cardiff Half on Sunday and completed it in 1:26. Two weeks ago I ran the Bristol half and completed it in 1:22. I did a full weeks training before Bristol including a 8 mile run and park run the day before. The week before Cardiff I tapered and only went running twice at a much shorter distance. I'm not sure why my time was slower as Cardiff is a faster course and thought it might even be quicker. But maybe I hadn't recovered enough from Bristol or I was tired? My training was building up for Cardiff but I thought I would do a half marathon before to make myself run at a decent pace. But that may have blown Cardiff?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks
