Hello running community,
I'm 37 and I've previously been used to running half marathons at around 1h20 and marathons at 3:00. I've been having a problem for the last 6 months. Whenever I go for a run I seem to get to 7-10km and start to tired quite rapidly. Within 10 minutes I go really cold, my heart rate drops and I get really lightheaded and to a point where I'm really confused and can't talk properly if I keep going. This happens whether the weather is hot or cold. I've tried alternating what I wear to see if that makes a difference in case I'm too hot or too cold. I've tried taking gels and water too but I can't seem to find anything to help. It's really frustrating given I'm not injured and could happily do a long run of 30km at a weekend. I have a balanced diet and no other health issues.
Any advice or pointers I'd be incredibly grateful.
Thanks
