Evening all,

I suffer from supination and the right outer side of my right shoe wears out after around 150-175 miles. As you can imagine it is becoming very expensive to keep replacing shoes. Gait analysis and a physio assessment show that I need to work on hip strengthening but the supination will probably always be there.

I have used Brooks Ghost, Saucony Ride ISO 2, Brooks Glycerin, and Hoka. All wore out in a similar manner, apart from the Hokas which lasted for about 300 miles, but I think I used these for too long. My current shoes are Karhu Synchron which are fantastic but showing some wear after only 25 miles.

The only shoes that did not show any damage were the Nike Zoom Structure 21 and they lasted about 350 miles. I am actually between stability and neutral shoes, but I am thinking that the Nike Air Pegasus 37 may be a good daily mileage shoe. is anyone able to offer advice about supination, shoes and particularly the Pegasus 37?
