I know it's a long way off but if you want a brilliant week's activity go to the Swiss 6days
In Zermatt in 2014. Running with amazing views of the Matterhorn and surrounding peaks is truly breathtaking. Entry fee includes a pass for all the cable cars, chairlifts, Gornergrat railway

Very much like the Swiss Alpine Marathon Week in Davos.
Fantastic running with views to die for.
Well worth the trip.

Just got final details for this event - Blimey - starts are from 8am - Journeys up the mountain can take up to 30mins and with 5000 runners there could be queues for the lifts, trains etc then the actual start could be anything up to 30 minutes walk from the assembly

Hope I don't have too earlier start time:rolleyes:

Should be a great week's racing though

Getting ready for next week's Swiss 6 days - 4643 runners from 37 countries (324 volunteers making it all happen) Just hope the thunderstorms stop by next week otherwise it could be a bit grim on days 2 & 5
