The Royal Parks Foundation, the charity for the eight Royal Parks, is launching a new half marathon on 12 October 2008, starting and ending in Hyde Park.

The 12,500 runners will race through four Royal Parks, taking in superb views of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall. This unique Half Marathon will celebrate the amazing wildlife, history and heritage of the Royal Parks and sustainability will be a central theme of the event. Download a map.

Health Unlimited, the international development NGO have 10 guaranteed places for the first ever Royal Parks Half Marathon. We ask our runners to pledge to raise a minimum of £500. However if they exceed £600 then we will refund their £50 deposit!

Be part of Health Unlimited's team and help raise valuable funds for remote and marginalised communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. If you are interested please email me at [email protected] Please help us to spread the word!

Thanks for your help!
Best wishes
