Hi.

As I have increased my speed and distance recently I have started noticing a tightness in my thighs (mainly at the back) and a feeling of cramp coming on. Although I havent actually had a proper cramp it doesnt feel too far off.

I stretch before and after a run and take an energy drink, but my legs always feel tight.


Any ideas?

It's just your bodies natural adaptation process! Sounds like your hamstrings are tight... a sports massage would probably help but until your body is used to the added stresses and strains you'll probs feel it for a while.
