I'm a little annoyed that my Garmin 5K running coach plan is now increasing warmup/cooldowns from 5 minutes to 10 minutes each for easy runs (runs at a low pace).

I can understand it for more intense runs, but for slow runs?

To be honest, cooldowns is something I've always doubted about, they feel like useless to me for everyday 25min easy runs. But now the plan is ratcheting them up from 5min to 10 min each. I'm thinking of ignoring them and just keeping to 5mins.

Any opinion much appreciated.
