Hi,

I'm about to run my first 10k in a couple of weeks and would like some advice. I have been training using a schedule I found on the internet which just says how long to run for on each day etc. It seems to be working fine and I am confident I'll be ok on the day.

My question is how to manage my running after the race. My goal so far has been just to finish the 10k but once I achieve that I would like to improve my 10k time, get used to that distance and then start training for a half-marathon at some point next year. Can you recommend any plans, websites, magazines to have a look at?
