I'm a creature of habit and I've been finding it really hard to consistently get back into running. But I'm getting into my 30s now and I feel more out of shape now then ever before. I have to do something to change it before it snowballs and gets worse. I think the biggest problem is none of my friends are into running/fitness at all so it makes it harder to stick with it. I need a group or a person to talk to regularly to keep me on track! If anyone has any suggestions or would like to help I'm open to any suggestions!

Personally, I found that following a plan helps me keep motivation. If you do use one, start from where you are now realistically, not someidea of where you ought to be. For instance, i'm thinking of couch to 5 km or beginner's 10 km programmes.
