Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has ever experienced the following and if they have any advice other than run somewhere else. I started running in February and had a few niggles and aches along the way but I recently ran a new route which has left me with some new knee pain. I generally have tight calves which I need to stretch and foam roll to feel half human after each run but this is a dull ache on the outside of my knee and down the outside of my shin.
The route itself is really even in terms of altitude but as it is by a Loch the paving slopes at an slight angle from right to left (assuming it's for drainage) with a couple of pot holes.
Any advice on how to manage the route without getting the pain would be massively appreciated.
