Hi all,

Is anyone on here planning to try to get a place in the UTMB this year? I was hoping someone could share their thoughts on this...I wanted to run the UTMB last year but was too late to get a place, so I ended up running the CCC instead. This year I will be trying as hard as I can to get into the UTMB, but the enrollment procedure is a little odd. The website says that registration opens at 9pm Paris time on 10th january. This is fine, but the registration for the CCC opens at the same time on 9th january. The website also says you won't be permitted to enroll for more than one race. So as far as I can tell, if I wait til 10th january to try for the UTMB, I'll have lost any hope of getting a place in the CCC and then might not even get a place in the UTMB! Hmmmm Has anyone else noticed this? Any plans/ideas?
