Good luck to all racing at the weekend.

I want to hear all about it on Monday.

So who is doing what?

I'm spending the weekend at the seaside town of Clacton with friends that I haven't seen for probably about 12 years! :)

I might even go for a little run by the sea if the weather isn't too bad

Organisation was shocking again, delayed for an hour as well.

I did good and bad

The good was I knocked 6 minutes of my PB time for a half but the gutting news was I missed out on the magical sub 2hr by 23 seconds.

That will teach me for stopping to use the facilities half way around.

Well done Granty, that is a great result, at least you know you can do it now.

It was a shame you were held up at the start...

Well done mate.

Taking all things into consideration, you should be well chuffed.

No injury problems I hope.

4 weeks till what I reckon will be a great and memorable day for you.

Most of the hard work is done now.

Just stay fit and healthy Granty.

All the best.

Dave.

Cheers both,

On a positive note, feel great this morning so the training must be paying off as this time last year I could not move, just need to do some speed traing I think in the summer.

That's a great result Granty... 6 minutes off is not far off 30 seconds a mile! :)

Ran the Inter-Counties x-country at Nottingham, what a great event. It helps that I ran well but it was superbly organised and the crowds were excellent. Even managed to get myslef on sky sports!!
