Hi all,
Just wandered if anyone could share what their favourite high energy low fat snacks are? I am always keen on finding new ideas (quick recipes or nice treats to buy) which fill the gap and are guilt free. I am trying to increase my fitness levels and lose a little bit of weight, to help me run more effectively. Thanks in advance!

I’ve found that eating a banana 45-60 minutes before I go out for a run works. I chew the banana to a complete mush without any lumps before swallowing, it helps to digest quicker.

Porridge is another good bet if it is made with water rather than full fat milk.

I like my own müsli based on rolled oats (not quick-cook, which have a higher GI) with a variety of seeds, dried fruits and nuts, soaked with soya milk or oat milk.
