I was at the 53K checkpoint (Le Tour) and it was carnage, how did you get on?
Slow but steady ;-)
in 'Le Tour' I knew then most +meters were behind me and there was only 1 big hill left to conquer, so in my mind i had to make it to the finish.
managed to get to the finish after 19h40min on my feet.

somewhat off-topic - does anyone have a training plan suggestion for something like the Mont-blanc 42 / 80? I know there is no substitute for running on the hills, but I just don't have any for miles around :lol:
I ran the 42K last year with only a bit of specific training, it can be done but it becomes a death march rather than any semblance of enjoyment and running
