Will I run easier if I lose some weight?

I’m thinking of losing those extra 6 kilos I should have lost long ago. I wonder if this will also make my jogs easier, any experiences?

I jog 30 minutes 3 or 4 days a week. I’m 1.87m 86 kg.

Any advice much welcome.

You're not massively heavy for your height, so I think its unlikely losing weight will have any material effect on your joints. However, you will most certainly find running "easier" and get faster.

Hey Rodion15 - looks like it was a month ago since your original post - have you found it any easier, and have you lost any weight?

If you're finding it a little easier, do you think it's the loss of weight or the consistent training which is contributing?
