I've been progressively improving my fitness/running over the past few months, and am now at a stage of where I want to crack on and get a bit more serious.
I have improved my diet a fair bit but I do however still enjoy a drink or several! Tried not to drink during the week but still hit it pretty heavy at weekends. I want to train for a half marathon and will be looking to achieve a time sub 1hr45 mins.
What do you/would you do?
Should I knock the sauce on the head completely while in training? Does alcohol consumption take a significant toll on running performance etc?
